Hytec Automotive Opens New 70,000 Square Foot Water Pump Manufacturing Plant in ChinaDate: 10/20/2008
TAMPA, Fla. / COLUMBUS, Ohio - – Hytec Automotive (Hytec), a DeBartolo company, announced today that it has opened a new state-of-the-art 70,000 sq. ft., TS-16949 NQA-certified water pump manufacturing plant in Jiangsu Province, Dafeng City, China. In a joint venture with Hytec Automotive USA, the Jiangsu Chantey Hytec Automotive Pumps, LLC facility now has the capacity to produce the largest amount of automotive water pumps on the Asian continent. Engineering, die casting, machining, assembly and packaging are the primary operations of the manufacturing plant, which specializes in producing automotive, heavy duty, industrial and marine water pumps. Excluding seals and bearings, all critical components required to produce new water pumps are manufactured at the facility.
