Hytec Automotive driven to supply the world with the highest quality water pumps

TAMPA, Fla. / COLUMBUS, Ohio / Defeng, Jiangsu, CHINA – Hytec Automotive (Hytec), a DeBartolo company, announced today that it has acquired 50% of its’ manufacturing operation in Defeng, Jiangsu, China for an undisclosed amount. The purchase of the Chinese operation means Hytec and the DeBartolo group are fully committed to the superb quality of the water pumps produced at this state of the art facility.

The Chinese facility is the global manufacturing and distribution operation of Hytec Automotive.  From China, water pumps designed by engineers in the American operation are manufactured and shipped worldwide.  The domestic headquarters in Columbus, Ohio is responsible for the design and distribution of water pumps. The international headquarters is located in Tampa, Fla.

The expansion in the Chinese operation also means that Hytec Automotive and DeBartolo will be able to extend our presence into the many diverse OES/OEM aftermarket auto parts distribution channels,” says Tim Zahler, president of Hytec Automotive.
