Key to this is Hytec-Chantey Automotive Pumps LLC, our aluminum die cast manufacturing, assembly, tool and die operation located in Defeng , Jiangsu , China . Hytec-Chantey maintains exceptional quality standards and is ISO 9002/QS 9000 certified through Perry Johnson Company, a respected U.S. certification company.

Hytec Automotive offers 786 different water pump applications. Cast iron, aluminum and heavy-duty pumps are manufactured at Hytec-Chantey , along with intake and exhaust manifolds and air compressors. Our factory has a complete tool and die facility for the manufacture of all critical components necessary to produce new water pumps. The only components outsourced are seals and bearings, which are manufactured in China by OEM manufacturers.

Current capacity at Hytec-Chantey is 4 million units per year.

In order to control order fill and assure quality, Hytec Automotive sources from more than eight different OEM manufacturers around the world. Our relationship with these global manufacturers provides outsourcing capabilities for U.S. companies such as Goodyear Tire and Rubber, and others across the Country. The top 150 water pump SKU's available for sale represent 98% of the total demand and Hytec Automotive manufactures and assembles all of these critical applications. We are continually expanding and manufacturing new applications for the greatest coverage in the industry. Naturally, all are of the highest quality and manufactured in our factory, which is ISO/QS and soon to be TS 16949 certified.
