The only key components that Hytec does not manufacture their units are the seals, bearings and gaskets. Hytec assembles their waterpumps with Heavy Duty Roller Bearings, supplied by a joint venture with SKF and provide nothing but Premium Gaskets for all applications.

• NOTE: All gaskets are packaged in a zip lock polyurethane bags, so gaskets are not bentduring shipping, which may cause a leaking after installation, We have also started arunning change securing the gasket to the top flap of the box, for even more protection.

Hytec has a very unique and user friendly part numbering system. All if not most automotive distributor's today stock a line of water pumps. They usually have at least five box sizes on their shelves.Depending on the part number; they can have a small box right next to a big box and next could be a medium size box.

This makes it very difficult for any customer to adjust their shelves properly and it takes up a lot of extra space. We all know that warehouses or even jobber stores are always in constant need of extra room. Our simple part numbering system is based completely on our box size.

Hytec uses a 6 digit part number, the first digit always represents the actual box size

For example: Part number 111702 will obviously fit into the first section of shelves and all Hytec part numbers that start with a number one will be of the same size box and fit nicely in that shelving section. Now box size number two, starts with a number 2 digit as the first part number. Hey, I bet you can guess what digit starts with the other bigger size boxes.

This very simple idea will allow a customer to save at least two or more shelving sections at their warehouse or store, without losing vehicle coverage. This works easily as well when receiving a normal stock order. lt's logical that the largest boxes are on the bottom of the pallet and the smallest on top. So, every order is virtually reversed packed, which makes checking and putting away stock orders as easy as it gets. Saving employee's time makes your business more efficient.
